A paper rocket led to the Manager's Desk

A paper rocket stayed with me as an image of simple, sharp forms. It became the starting point for the Manager’s Desk.

I worked with a studio partner and learned alongside the craftspeople making the desk. During a visit to a painting workshop, I came across it taking shape. Seeing the idea become an object stayed with me.
